Mediterranean Trail - March 2011

Once again a thousand thanks for the mirific trail. I really enjoyed these vacations, which were relaxing and sporty!

Your team and your horses (especially Mufasa) are fantastic! I really hope to come back soon. My friends and families were impressed by the pictures and some of them already want to come along!! Especially those photos of the beach, the rivers and the gallops. I bet many other friends would want to come along after seeing them! Thanks again,

Lorrraine

Mediterranean Trail - March 2011

For the Record: This is a note of thanks and acknowledgement for Rudi's finely honed spirit of adventure and obvious love of the excrutiatingly beautiful, and for Buffalo's art of setting a table with the accoutrements of gourmet dining in the wild while plying us with the charms of "vino tinto".

And, most especially, for the delightful spirt-lead into the gracious arts of the Catalonian culture, for his aplomb, and navigation, and for his well tempered management of six wide ranging and diverse women, and for whose generousity with himself, engaging smile, and warmth, always the gentleman and professional, made our play a reality, for this, I want to thank Jordi. He made us laugh until we cried, and studded our moments with information and delightful repartee. We could not hove known a better time spent without him as our Ride Master. Thank you for allowing us your good company, for the great matches with our horses, and for the introduction to the heart and soul of Catalonia! A World Class Adventure! My friend and I are already planning our next trip to Catalonia.... Herdsmen? Bandits?

Rudi and his team could not have been more gracious, more helpful, or more fun! The scenery was wonderful, the meals superb, and the accommodations charming. How did it seem effortless? I have been riding all my life and I must say how wonderful Rudi's horses are. They are beautiful trained, and team well both with rider and with each other. I hope to return.

Bandit Trail - November 2009

Hi Rudi,

Thank you so much for making our trip so much fun, we all had a great time.

The horses were in great shape, especially for the end of the season and they were all great rides.

I think you did a good job! Hope you get some rest now. I am still on Spanish time.

Cheers, and we will have to get us all together and plan a ride in the future.

Salute,

Sally

Bandit Trail - November 2009

Rudi,

Just to say a big thank you for the amazing trail last week.

I'm back in England now and it hasn't stopped raining since I landed on Sunday night. I miss Catalan blue skies and siestas in the sunshine. Looks like there is no more sun and no more siestas for me till next year!

I had my bi-weekly riding lesson last night and I was fearless, although my horse kept spooking in the wind (nothing like my trusty steed Ufano). Riding in a flat school covered with soft sand is now a piece of cake!

It is absolutely impressive how you seem so laid back and relaxed, and yet carefully organise every little detail of the trail. It makes all the difference to have great food (you didn't forget the chocolate once!) and comfy accommodation in all those charming places after a full day of riding. Seeing Catalonia from horseback (and being guided by you!) means that you get to see places that you could never discover yourself. To mention just one, Jordi's house is like a museum where every little item has so much character! It was great to stay there and to enjoy his and Isabel's company (and food).

I look forward to seeing your photos as mine don't really reflect the spirit of the trail - they are far too static as I only dare take camera out in walk...

Please pass my thanks to all those who made the trail special - including Christina, Jordi, Elisabeth the lady who made us lunch on Tuesday and, of course, Buffalo!

Best wishes,

Ania
